Welcome to the Ladies Section of Disley Golf Club
Lady Captain 2009/10 - Mrs Barbara Williamson
Hello, my name is Barbara Williamson. I am this year's Captain of the Disley Golf Club's Ladies Section.
We are a friendly group who meet and play our competitions on Thursdays, but we also cater for our
business ladies, by allowing them to play the competitions on Sundays throughout the season.
We have three teams, A team, B team and Plate, representing us in the Cheshire League.
We also enjoy playing friendly matches and have a team which plays against other local clubs.
We also play frequent mixed competitions with our own Gentlemen and junior members.
Of course, all games are not so competitive and we often just play social golf enjoying each
other's company and the wonderful Pennine scenery surrounding our course.
Our course, clubhouse and facilities are first class and we count ourselves fortunate to be members of Disley Golf Club.
