"On behalf of the F2 Golf Society, I would like to thank all involved to make our visit so welcoming, everybody had a lovely day and the course considering all the bad weather we have had recently is a testament to your Green keepers, it played true and the greens were very good indeed, thanks once again for all your help in arranging our day. Regulations re Covid & Club Competitions Done forget you get preferred lies in the bunkers of not more than 6” from where the ball was at rest. NO smoothing of the sand however players MUST smooth the sand in the bunker AFTER their shot. The R&A have updated regulations regarding touching the flagstick and are as follows:- Allow players to centre the flagstick in a safe manner which does not involve using the hand, even when wearing a glove or using a towel (for example, by using a club). The centring of the flagstick may be allowed while another player putts (this may be desirable in windy conditions when the flagstick is required to be left in the hole and is leaning towards the player making the stroke). So basically you can Center the flagstick with a club whilst another player putts. Please can players make an extra effort to place their card in the correct box after their round as this is causing a great deal of extra work for your committee. Good luck today
