These sessions are flexible on timing and the friendly ‘pro’s’ will try to accommodate
wherever possible.
If you are interested in organising a ‘taster’ session, please contact the Pro Shop and ask
for Scott or Ian

Beginners Academy

After the initial ‘taster’ session, lady’s move into the weekly beginner’s academy. These
sessions work through all aspects of the game, with an aim to help ladies to play on the golf
course as soon as they feel confident.

At DGC we realise that starting a new sport and joining a new club can sometimes be
daunting. Therefore, to help with this process we offer a ‘buddy’ system, where a more
experienced golfer shows you the way. The ‘buddy’ will help:-

Answer any queries you may have about Golf at Disley.

An official world golf handicap can be gained over 9 or 18 holes at DGC. Three cards will
need to be completed to achieve an official handicap.
